Cotton Bud Swirls

It always pains me to throw away left over paints so today we put them to good use with this fun cotton bud swirls painting activity.

What you need:

- cotton buds

- left over paints on a plate or flat palette

- white card or paper (if you want to make a print)

How it works:

This is a great use of left over paints on a plate or flat palette. Just give your child a few cotton buds and let them experiment swirling the colours together. My son also enjoyed making 'tracks' through the different colours of paint. 

You can then push down a piece of white card or paper onto the plate and get an imprint of the swirl pattern.
