We love finding new tools to use as paintbrushes... these huge scrubbers with handles are perfect for process art!

Scrubber painting in action. |
What you need:
- large scrubber with handle ($1 from Dollar Tree)
- paints (we used IKEA MALA paints)
- large piece of white paper (we went for A3 size)
- something to protect the floor underneath (poster board or plastic table cloth)
 |
Ready to scrub! |
How it works:
There's no rules to this one! Just squirt some paint on the paper and scrub away!
 |
Scrubbing the colours over the paper. |
The handle on the scrubber makes it very easy to use, even for little ones. I did this with my one year old and she was delighted at how effective her mark making was.
 |
Texture and colour mixing. |
This is such a fun form of process art. Watching the texture develop and colours mix is so exciting for little eyes.

Putting the final touches to her masterpiece. |

Such a novel paintbrush! |
 |
Awesome texture of the artwork. |
I'm always a little hesitant of getting the paints out with baby sis due to the mess. This activity kept the paint relatively contained on the paper, and she sure did have fun!

Proud artist! |
Can't recommend this one highly enough, especially as the scrubber only sets you back a buck!
