An Easter-themed twist on painting that made practising numbers much more exciting.
Using the Easter Bunny's magical paintbrush. |
What you need:
- white paper or card with numbers dotted out on it
- selection of paints
- a nice pointy carrot
How it works:
I simply told my son that the Easter Bunny had left him a magical paintbrush (a carrot). My son found this most amusing and he thought it was really exciting painting with a carrot. He chose a different colour each time and traced the numbers 1-10. This made number writing exciting and helped us to get ready for Easter celebrations. The best part was that once we had finished the painting we washed and peeled the carrot and ate it for snack.
