Dippin' Dots for my Festive Tots!

Celebrating the holidays as a family with some delicious Dippin' Dots Christmas recipes!

We were kindly gifted all of the necessary ingredients by Dippin' Dots to make these four delicious icy treats.

When I was asked by Dippin' Dots if I'd like to test out some of their holiday recipes with my kids, it was a total no-brainer! Frozen icy treats delivered to our door... I have never seen my kids so excited!!

This holiday season Dippin' Dots have come up with some pretty scrummy recipes. The products were shipped to our door and arrived in a reusable foam cooler and in dry ice. The Dippin' Dots must be consumed the same day as arrival, they do not store in a home freezer. We each got to choose one to test out, here's what we chose, and how we got on...

The perfect combination of chocolate and berries had big bro's name written all over it. And this totally counts as one of his five-a-day right?

This was so easy to make that my kids needed no help at all (apart from keeping them on task instead of just 'sampling' the ingredients!).

Add the Brownie Batter Dippin' Dots, then the Redberry Dippin' Dots, give them a gentle stir, then top it off with whipped cream and strawberry sauce and you're done!

My kids decided to put their own creative twist on the recipe and added Marshmallow whip instead of cream!

This recipe could not be more perfect for my toddler. Her two loves in life are ice cream and cookies! And I think pretty soon she'll cotton on to how great Santa is too!

Again, this one was super easy to make. The kids loved helping to measure out the Cookies 'n Cream Dippin' Dots and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dippin' Dots. Stirring them gently together was another fun hands-on way for them to be involved.

I'm pretty sure there won't be many cookies left for Santa though...

This refreshing combo was my husband's choice. I think he's secretly the biggest Dippin' Dots fan in the family. He always has to 'test' the kids' choices first when we buy them. Although I think baby sis got him back this time!

The kids loved helping to add to Daddy's mega creation!

The layers of Chocolate Dippin' Dots, chocolate sauce and Andes mint topping were absolutely delicious!

This one definitely looked the prettiest... before it got devoured!

There was only ever going to be one choice for this coffee-loving mama! The added bonus of a coffee boost, whilst not missing out on chocolate sweetness- perfection!!

Vanilla Dippin' Dots with hot coffee poured over the top, and to finish it off a squirt of chocolate sauce and some chocolate chunks! Would you judge me if I told you I went back for seconds?

Obviously you can see that this family had the best time making these Dippin' Dots treats. But it was so much more than just the oh so delicious tastes. It was the fact that we got to share the excitement and yummy flavors together. Sure there were times it got chaotic and messy, but that's what the holidays are all about right?! Ice cream is the universal language of yum for kids after-all!
