Lego Figure Rescue Mission

Frozen lego figures need rescuing at bath time....... but how will it be done?

How can the frozen figures be rescued?

What you need:

- ice cube tray

- Lego figures (or any other small toys could be used)

- selection of buckets, pots, bottles, squirters and scoopers

How it works:

When my son arrived in the bathroom I told him that the Lego figures were stuck as they had been frozen in the ice. I told him that he needed to help rescue them and that he was allowed to use any of the tools provided. 

At first he tried to just pull them out but soon realised that wasn't going to work. He tried digging and scooping, as well as shaking the ice cube tray. He finally realised that some of the buckets and bottles had warm water in and that the warm water would help melt the ice and release the figures. He enjoyed rescuing them one by one.
