Draw 'n Erase Baubles

It's always great to add a homemade decoration to the tree each year. These DIY baubles were pretty fun to make and can be redesigned over and over!

What you need:
- plastic baubles (we got ours from Michael's but most dollar stores also sell them)
- Wonder Stix

- some string or ribbon
- paper towels or wet wipes

Do you enjoy adding homemade decorations to your tree? We do! These ones are particularly cool because they are wipe clean so they can be re-designed as many times as we like!

The pens we used are called Wonder Stix and they write on nearly any surface. As long as the surface is non-porous, the mark will wipe right off! This was great for my 5 year old who often changes his mind on the design front.

He set to work on adding patterns and colors to the bauble. It was easy for him to leave bright and bold marks, and he loved the novelty of getting to draw straight onto the bauble. Using a slightly flattened oval shape for the bauble made it much easier for him to manage the decoration as he drew.

Once he was done designing both baubles, we added some string and he proudly hung them on our tree!

I love that when he wakes up in the morning he will most likely ask to wipe the baubles clean and design two new ones! Such an open-ended and festive creating activity!
