What you need:
- photo frame- we used a 12 in x 12 in Multipurpose Basic frame by Studio Decor, sold at Michael's for $8.99
- felt- we used a 12 in x 18 in piece of black felt, sold at Michael's for $1.99
- craft scissors
- painter's tape
- felt- we used a 12 in x 18 in piece of black felt, sold at Michael's for $1.99

- painter's tape
How it works:
1. Open the frame and safely remove the glass panel.
2. Lay the cardboard backing over the black felt. Fold one side of the felt over one edge of the cardboard. Tape it down.
3. Cut off any large amounts of excess felt on the other side, but be sure to leave some to fold over and tape. Pull the felt tightly over the cardboard and then tape down the second side.
4. Now simply place the felt-covered cardboard back into the frame.
There you have it, an easy and cheap felt board ready for your kids to enjoy!
Best of all, you can easily swap out the backing color to revamp the felt board frequently.
