Muffin tin prints make the perfect little bauble markings. We used some festive colors and turned this fun process art activity into our teacher holiday cards.

I always love to add the personal touch to teacher cards because I think it is nice for the kids to spend time creating something special for those who have given their time to supporting their learning journey. This year we made little bauble print cards and they turned out super cute! We started off by cutting the A4 white card into thirds and then folding the thirds in half. Then it was time to get painting.
The kids were given free rein to paint with the festive colors on the muffin tin undersides. This is a really fun sensory experience for kids and the novelty factor is huge.
Big bro enjoyed experimenting with different patterns and colors. It was nice to see him taking lots of care to make each and every bauble print unique. Once he was happy with the paint he would push a piece of the card onto the paint to make the print.
Meanwhile baby sis was busy painting the entire muffin tin! Jokes aside, she loved just being allowed to paint on such a different canvas!
They did a great job of making some beautiful festive prints. A little tip is to encourage them to avoid pushing down and smudging around the paint. Try to show them a straight down push and lift technique if possible.
Once all the cards were done, we left them to dry.
Then it was time to add the bauble top and string. Big bro did a great job with this part using a black brush marker.
The final stage was to add a hole punch in the top left corner and then thread through some nice glittery silver and red string. The kids lovingly wrote their messages / drew their doodles for their teachers and that was it. 12 lovely handmade cards ready for some very special teachers.
